1. instead of an annoying syntax error alert in the editor, the editor passes errors to the wizard to display
2. to help with automation tests, removed the typing delay---and added a 'pending' state so the wizard displays 'waiting for validation' message which only a test might see
3. prevent annoying spelling error checks on wizard inputs
4. fix annoying small initial editor size on opening
