Pluck object

Description

Link-type objects connect from one mass-like object to another mass-like object. For that reason, each of the links must specify the two mass-like objects that it connects.

A non-linear plucking link.

Parameters

  • stiffness: stiffness in N/m
  • damping: damping in N/(m/s)
  • diplacement: minimum displacement difference for contact in m
  • offset: offset for engagement in m]
  • identifier: unique name
  • start vertex: starting vertex
  • end vertex: ending vertex
  • labels: label strings
