The Toomre model is a simplified model to describe the dynamics of galaxy interactions. This project applies a second order FDA for two gravitating masses to simulate galaxy dynamics.
To experiment with the simulation simply run the MATLAB script galaxy_sim.m. All the parameters of the simulation are specified at the top of the file. The project report provides a description of the theory and the derivations behind the galaxy interaction simulation.
