A super simple notepad with frequently used hotkeys (keyboard shortcuts)

When I study, I keep only one tab open; my slides tab. Sometimes I get an idea during a focus session, and I normally write it down in a paper notebook, but when I’m out, I reach for a digital option. The problem is, most note-taking apps are too distracting.

So I built this for myself and for anyone who might benefit from it.

• One single page
• No buttons
• No save / sync / login
• Works offline
• Automatically saves to local storage
• Multiple pages (page switcher at bottom right)
• Paste images directly from clipboard
• Interactive checkboxes (type - [ ] to create a checkbox)
• Common hotkeys:
  • Bold Text — Ctrl / ⌘ + B
  • Highlight Text — Ctrl / ⌘ + H
  • Increase Font Size — Ctrl / ⌘ + +
  • Decrease Font Size — Ctrl / ⌘ + -
  • Reset Font Size — Ctrl / ⌘ + 0
  • Strikethrough Text — Shift + -
