We could go for simpler and straight forward code of conduct, more based on what kind of attitude is deemed unacceptable instead of to whom, as it should be to be applied to everyone. As well as enlarge the type of misconducts.
Hence stating simply:

  • Is prohibited from everyone and to everyone in this community
    • Discrimination

Discrimination is the process of making unfair or prejudicial distinctions between people based on the groups, classes, or other categories to which they belong or are perceived to belong.
      - Wikipedia, Discrimination, 2023-10

    • Harassment

Harassment covers a wide range of behaviors of offensive nature. It is commonly understood as behavior that demeans, humiliates, and intimidates a person, and it is characteristically identified by its unlikelihood in terms of social and moral reasonableness.
      - Wikipedia, Harassment, 2023-10

    • Inflammatory and digressive communication
    • Spam
    • Illegal activities
    • Negative criticism (in opposition to well-intentioned, constructive one)
  • Is enforced
    • Respect
  • Is encouraged
    • Empathy

This list could be completed if necessary list items are considered missing.

For enforcement, communication channels could be specified, and as for the type of enforcement I think it is up to the moderators based on the kind of offense as well as the repetitive nature of it to make an appropriate decision ranging from warning, to permanent ban.

Also, as this project originated from Fortune Electric, we might need to contact supervisors and see if it fits our company's rules first.

By all means, you are free to write your own Code of Conduct. Whatever you want to adopt. I won't block, if it doesn't feel wrong to me. 👍

I am not a lawyer, and I don't have a will to play with wording that bothers you too much. The idea from the Contributor Covenant is clear and straightforward to me.

Whatever your objections are, I want to state that this not my fight. and at the current moment I am not interested in making problem from something that isn't a problem to me. Hence I am giving you a chance to provide an alternative.

As for now, all I need is any initial version of code of conduct, so I can go further with promoting this repository as well as the organisation for future initiatives in terms of open-source.
