Panels can't be docked in Affinity on Linux. But by exporting a studio from an existing Windows installation the desired layout can be achieved. I tested this on Fedora 43 Workstation Edition, 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700H × 20 CPU with the AppImage Variant. I have no Mac to test this, but since this generates an .afstudio file which should work under all installations exporting it from a Mac installation should work as well.
