Can you check that this will fit on the screen before we merge & deploy? |
|
Hmm, looks like the version that's displaying up outside your area is different from this config; fewer people listed. So I'm not sure. Who owns the config that's being used? |
|
Probably Doug. I'd prefer us to get back to having our config checked in though (at least until we move away from that altogether). Is it just the listed people that is different, and if so do you mind rolling that into this change too? |
|
The only difference is probably the people. I'm not sure where the current config came from. |
And while we're at it, add style folks to the animations dash.
|
Thinking about it some more, I figured it made sense to create a new config. When Style and Animations move to sit together, I think it makes sense to have their dashboards side-by-side, and at that point we can start reducing duplicated info from the two. (I don't think there's room at present for a single dashboard to have both.) |
|
I like the idea of splitting the dashes across two screens :)
Does this do that, or is it an intermediate state? I'm mainly interested in
keeping the screens functional, so we don't have broken displays up.
Cheers,
-Shane

I just meant literally having the Animations chromebox + screen next to the Style one. Equipment availability permitting. |
|
Right, I assumed a corollary of that would be that we would shard by dash
instead of person?

Judging by the stylimations dashboard today, it looks like this pull request has been made redundant. Feel free to close if so. It would be nice to make better use of the two screens, e.g. having one screen display fixed cards and the other have the cardview, but from my limited poking at the dashboard code I haven't been able to work out how to control the cardview sufficiently to do this. |
