EcoExplore is a theoretical mobile application built with Flutter and Dart, leveraging Firebase for backend services. The application encourages sustainable practices among tourists and locals in Singapore by recommending purely green and eco-friendly activities, accommodations, and businesses. This repository contains the CIT2C18 Mobile Application Development Source Code Submission, demonstrating how mobile applications can support multiple industries through basic CRUD Functionalities.

There is currently a lack of awareness and resources for tourists and locals to engage in sustainable tourism in Singapore. In line with the Singapore Green Plan 2030, EcoExplore addresses this gap by educating users, providing accessible resources, and fostering community interactions. By promoting sustainable practices, the app supports Singapore’s Green Economy and encourages sustainable living through initiatives such as achieving a 75% mass public transport peak-period modal share.
