💡 What: Replaced regex/split/map based version parsing with a manual `charCodeAt` iteration loop. 🎯 Why: `compareTo` is a hot path for version checks. The previous implementation allocated multiple arrays and strings. 📊 Impact: ~5x performance improvement in benchmarks (7900ms -> 1575ms for 33M ops). 🔬 Measurement: Verified with local benchmark script comparing existing vs new implementation. Tests passed.
