I think we're currently only using core Python modules, but there are a few places where we're using Python 2 syntax in the code (mostly print statements). We should probably fix that.

Agreed. I have another pull request out there that deals with by importing
print from future, which makes things work nicely in either version for the
simple things a lot of the programs are doing.
