It seems to work on my end.

git clone https://github.com/pleasesendmeloadsofvegetables/rootbeer -b patch-1
cd rootbeer
guix build -f guix.scm

I could also run rootbeer in a shell

guix shell -f guix.scm -- rb store list

and build a container with it

docker import $(guix pack --file=guix.scm --format=docker --image-tag=rootbeer)
