A highly curated invivo database for insilico animal digital twins

This repository demonstrates an application of the currentscape method to in vivo-like biophysical simulations of hippocampal CA1 neurons. The analysis visualizes how membrane currents distributed across dendritic compartments contribute to somatic activity during simulated place field traversals.

This project replicates the intracellular current injection experiments from Bittner et al., 2015, Fig. 6a, demonstrating plateau potential initiation in CA1 pyramidal neurons through direct somatic stimulation.
