Ah I did not see that and submitted #14, but this also resolves some other issues with version 1.9 changing the way connection settings work. |

This repo seems abandoned. For what it's worth, I use Opaleye now. They have a succession plan, so if one person is out of commission, another can still merge and manage repo stuff. |

Yeah I think this repo is abandoned for sure, but hasql itself isn’t. Tbh I was just using it for a very simple project and didn’t want any ORM-y stuff. |

This fix will make it a bit easier for people to use the test suite as an example to figure out how to use the lib.
