Update the dependencies and update to React v19.
Added some more typechecks since strict is enabled now.
Moved to Vite and dropped Webpack.
Vanilla Extract creates stylesheets at the build time, thus ditching the need for runtime evaluation compared to styled components thats runtime CSS-in-JS.
